Privacy policy

This policy explains how Rekainos Inc. ("we", "us") uses personal information when you use Rekainos Labs at labs.rekainos.org and this website. It applies to customers outside the United Kingdom and Europe. Customers in the UK, EU and Switzerland are served by Rekainos Limited under its own policy.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account ID and profile picture.
- What you make: scripts, manuscripts, the audio, images and video you generate, and the settings you choose.
- Voice recordings: if you clone a voice, the sample you record and the consent statement spoken by the voice's owner.
- Usage and billing: your plan, the credits you use and a record of each generation, so we can show your usage and charge correctly.
- Technical data: your IP address and approximate country (to show the right prices and company), browser type, and logs we need to keep the service secure and working.
We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell your personal information.
How we use it
- To run your account and produce what you ask for.
- To clone a voice, only with the consent of the voice's owner, recorded in their own voice.
- To bill you, keep accounting records and meet our legal obligations.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To email you about your account and, if you ask, about product news.
Your content and AI
We don't use your scripts, recordings or creations to train AI models. Google Cloud, which runs our main models, processes your requests under terms that don't allow it to train its models on them. A cloned voice is used only in your account, to produce audio you ask for. Delete the voice and we delete the recordings behind it.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with providers who help us run the service, under contracts that limit their use of it, and when the law requires.

We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How long we keep it
- History: generated takes are kept for the number of days your plan includes (7 to 180), then deleted automatically.
- Library: items you save stay until you delete them or close your account.
- Custom voices: the recordings stay until you delete the voice or close your account.
- Account: until you close it. We then delete your content within 30 days, except billing records, which the law requires us to keep for up to six years.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, download or delete your information at any time by emailing privacy@rekainos.org. Depending on your state (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Texas), you may have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of sale or targeted advertising, which we don't do. We won't treat you differently for using these rights. You may use an authorised agent, and we'll verify requests before acting on them.
Age
Rekainos Labs is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we'll delete it if we learn we have.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to the people who need it.
